Alert: Important Update: Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) Weight Loss Injections

We’ve received a number of enquiries recently following media coverage of Mounjaro (Tirzepatide). Please note that this treatment is not available for prescribing by GPs at Howdale Surgery, and we are awaiting further guidance from our ICB (Integrated Care Board).
Please do not contact the practice to request Mounjaro. Future eligibility will be determined by the ICB and either we or the ICB will be in contact with those that are eligible once prescribing guidance has been confirmed.
